Vista on main
All righty, I got a Vista Business DVD from Baskin Engineering and now I'm rockin' Vista on both computers. And everything works wonderfully! That is, my computer has not burst into flames yet.

If you gots an MSDN AA account, then go for it. I've been beta-testing Vista for the past few months and I am very pleased.

.... how do I get one of those?

Where can I get Vista for a discount? I know I want it, and I'm over file sharing (it's not worth it).

You have to be part of the engineering department of a school which is part of the MSDN AA. I'm not sure where you could get it for a discount, though. :\

you got an actual DVD of it?

I thought it didn't come out until the 30th. Where'd you pick it up? I want one. :-p

Are you an MSDN AA subscriber? You have to be in a CS/CE class to join, and to get the DVD. (I joined a few years ago when I was in CMPS12A.)

If so, email the maintainer and ask to borrow the DVD.

BTW: Vista Business has been available to businesses since the end of November, and to MSDN AA subscribers since the beginning of January.

Also: it's difficult to rip an ISO of it. I tried hard and did not succeed.
